James Maslow is an American singer, actor, and songwriter best known as the star of both the top-rated Nickelodeon program Big Time Rush and best-selling music group of the same name. However, these days, Maslow makes headlines around the world for his solo music with recent infectious pop singles like “Love U Sober” and “Delirious” that have received glowing praise from critics and fans alike. Last year, Maslow debuted “All Day” featuring Dominique. The single, which was quickly remixed by dance music legend Benny Benassi, was the follow up to Maslow’s debut solo LP How I Like It and debuted at #36 on the Billboard Top New Artist chart.
Never ceasing to captivate an audience, Maslow is a proud recipient of the prestigious Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Award. The coveted title earned him the opportunity to open the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas as well as KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles and Z100’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York City.
A star in every aspect of the word, he continues to capture the attention of the American public and is the current host of the CW’s global talent show The Big Stage with Elizabeth Stanton airing Friday nights at 9pm ET. Maslow was also the last man standing on Season 18 of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and appeared on the first season of CBS’ Celebrity Big Brother. His versatility has earned him starring roles in the upcoming comedy My Boyfriend’s Meds alongside Jaime Camil, Sandra Echeverria, Jason Alexander, and Brooke Shields, set for release on August 30th, 2019, as well as indie comedy/drama We Need To Talk with Emily Bett Rickards and the upcoming World War II action film, Wolf Hound (release date TBA).
