Join Reebok Fitness Coaches Ashley Horner, Brittany Weiss, and Sarah Loogman for a Camp Valor class, a high energy, body weight focused workout session designed to challenge all fitness levels in a fun and safe atmosphere! Classes will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018 on the Main Stage at 10am and 1:30pm.
MEET YOUR REEBOK FITNESS COACHES
Ashley Horner is a celebrity fitness trainer, hybrid athlete, ultra-runner, triathlete, entrepreneur, and mother to three boys. Based in Virginia Beach, but a strong supporter of the San Diego community having briefly lived here. She is an accomplished authored and has sold over 1,000,000 copies of her 14 different training programs, and is sponsored by Bodybuilding.com, Reebok, RockTape, and PowerDot. She owns a fitness facility appropriately named “American Sled Dogs” and it’s located in the heart of Virginia Beach. Her facility caters to fitness levels of all types and law enforcement, military, and first responders frequent the establishment. She also is the creator of a children’s fitness community called “SledPups” where children around the nation compete for scholarships that assist with the cost of youth sports. Her entrepreneurial endeavors are far-reaching and extend deep into the community. She created the Valkyrie Surf & Snow clothing line and operates the “Unbroken Foundation”, an organization founded to support battered women and children. She hopes to employ these women in the coffee/whiskey bar she owns, “American Brew”.
A Greensboro, NC native and now resident of San Diego, Brittany attended a friend’s birthday party at a gymnastics center when she was two and has been an athlete ever since. She continued with gymnastics, and after 16 years of competing, her gymnastics coach introduced her to CrossFit. Brittany started taking classes, and shortly after ended up making the team for CrossFit Tier One in Greenville, North Carolina. Brittany then joined the coaching staff and competitive team at the Invictus gym, and now holds her CrossFit Level 2 Certification. Brittany loves Italian food – especially homemade ravioli and lasagna, going to the beach, and hiking, beach volleyball, and sun time. Her favorite animal is her cat, Kiwi.
Sarah is an all-around fitness guru with a thirst for the outdoors. Her home town is in Northern California, but she has spent the last few years in San Diego. Sarah’s professional background includes coaching CrossFit for 5 years with a focus on helping people with chronic pain as it relates to chronic stress. Sarah’s athletic background includes competing in track and volleyball at the collegiate level and most recently making it to the CrossFit Games in 2017.
